Value Stream Responsibilities
Value Streams are responsible for:
- End-to-end flow optimization
- Coordinating practices involved in the stream
- Measuring and improving stream performance
- Identifying and removing bottlenecks
- Ensuring customer/stakeholder satisfaction
Important: Value Streams do NOT own practice artefacts. They coordinate practices but do not duplicate or override practice-owned content.
Value Stream Leadership
Value Stream Owner:
- Owns end-to-end value stream performance
- Coordinates practices contributing to the stream
- Identifies and resolves flow impediments
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives
- Reports on value stream metrics
