L5 Principal Engineer — Delivery Guild Cross-Guild Criteria
These criteria define what the Delivery Guild expects from a Principal Engineer (L5) who is primarily a Technology Guild role. They are authored and governed by the Delivery Guild.
Consulting Management

Assesses the impact of legislation, and actively promotes compliance. Takes the initiative to keep both own and subordinates’ skills up to date and to maintain an awareness of developments in IT. |
Project Management

Contribution can be facilitated through forums such as Yammer, Blogs, The Juice, Practice Meetings, Tech Talks, Mid-monthly meetings, conferences, external blogs and technical Forums. |
